Default Information needed for USB on 2010 xD

Hello all. First time poster here, though I've already leared alot by browsing these forums!

A few weeks ago I replaced the stock stereo in my 2010 Scion xD with a JVC KW-AVX740 unit. Using an AXXESS ASWC and Metra 70-8114, I have been able to get my Steering Wheel Control and factory installed AUX jack working with the unit. I have also installed the parking brake override, as I have been really adverse to cutting into any of the factory wiring.

The last missing piece of this equation is getting the USB hooked back up. As it's the only cable still hanging behind the stereo, I assume it's the small grey squarish connector. (I also assume this as it has a 4 pin layout like a USB cable would.)

The KW-AVX740 has a female USB jack hanging in the back. Is there an adapter out there that adapts the factory USB cabling to a Male USB end so that I can simply connect this in the back?

I searched the forums beforehand, but didn't find any info on this topic, so hopefully this hasn't already been addressed.

Thanks!
Louis

i doubt it. I would just make the factory USB spot hold a regular USB cord.

If I wind up having to go that route, how do I pop out that USB/AUX casing? Do they just pop out forward?

It should pop out with a little pressure from the back side. I choose to run my usb into the glove box so I could keep my ipod outta sight.

Google search splicing usb cords. You can splice your aftermarket usb to your factory usb and not worry about making the aftermarket cable fit in to the factory hole.
