Default Removing xD Shift **** (Automatic)

How do I remove the shift **** for an automatic 2009 xD? I'm getting a new one and I want to do it myself but I don't want to screw anything up!

Thanks!

Wow, I just tried it and you're right, it's easy to unscrew. So funny. I always think these little modification things are going to be more trouble than they're worth. How about the parking break ****? Is that removable?

There's one that comes with three sizes: 8mm, 10mm and 12mm tubes. I believe the xD is 8mm.
