i just tried to fit the shift boot from Shift Styles. and it doesnt fit. at all....its not long enough NOR does it fit the mounting plate. I'll be emailing them today to see whats up? Because I sent them in the OEM shift boot....so the height and mounting pattern shouldn't have been off....especially the height....its probably 1.5" off. Pretty disappointed

Just go to [url]http://www.redlinegoods.com[url] and find Scion in the dropdown box. The one you see in the xD on their site was ordered 1 or 2" longer than normal according to A1binoA11igat0r (that's who's car it is, and that's who wrote the how-to on installing the boots). Mine is the "stock" length.

It is $49 for the shift boot or $69 for the shift boot and brake boot. Get both, they look great together! Also, you have a million options for color and stitching. They are fast and the products are nice.

Just a note, the boot will sag when it is installed because there is nothing holding it up around the edge. Mine (and the one on their site) had to be modified a bit to help it "puff up" around the edge. To do this, cut and bend a metal coat hanger to closely match the opening in the trim piece where the boot attaches, only very slightly larger. Work the metal loop up into the boot after it is attached to the trip piece and the console. The ring will stay there and hold the boot up for a more finished look.

They still have a free shipping discount for orders over $50, so use it if you get both boots or shift boots for two cars.

Discount code: P6C316QL7J5

Only good through Feb 25!

.

Does redline sell just the e-brake boot? I'm going all leather interior and no manual stick here, just auto.

hrmmm....i have a solution

swap in a manual aha just kidding. if you look at the ordering section of the website it has a menu bar that gives you the option for ebrake shift boot only.
