Default Zeta Armrest installed (pics)

Not sure if anyone needs to see these... I know I searched every forum I could find looking for photos.

I posted them in my intro thread, but figured maybe someone might get some use out of seeing these... (please don't copy and use elsewhere. )

Hope these help folks on the search! (FWIW, I went with this one rather than the others because of the padding and cost. It's a LEEEEETLE low for me, but it's doable. I'm 5'7", but if I were taller, I'd imagine it would be perfect. It installs in about 2 minutes. The price was right. And it arrived literally two days after I placed the order. To me, it looks like it came installed!)

Exclamation Zeta Armrest

I'm a new owner of a 2009 XD and I just purchased the Zeta armrest through their Ebay store for $75. It's much cheaper than on their website. I installed it last night, and I can honestly say it's a perfect fit and exactly what I wanted. After searching for a couple of weeks and comparing it to the Japanese IST armrest, I think it's the best choice.

However, I noticed on the box that it said "Yaris" on the side [which doesn't surprise me], and I kick myself for not thinking of searching for a Yaris armrest sooner.

For a $40 "Zeta" armrest on Ebay [the exact same product], search for "toyota yaris center armrest".

Hopefully this helps for those who want a nice inexpensive and practical interior mod [at half the price of the "ZETA" name].

Nice images. Note that you cannot just install a Yaris armrest in an xD. The console is slightly different for each car. We modify the bottom of the armrest for each application.

Hello all! I just bought a nwe '08 xD a month or so ago. (CFC FTW!) Used to own a '91 Caprice. I was a little miffed that the car didn't come with an armrest.

Zetaproducts: do you sell direct to SL members at a cheaper price than eBay?

If you don't please accept my apologies. I'm coming from a much older forum and they do things a lot different.

If fits into the rear cupholder, and then stabilizes with two little screws straight down through into the bottom of the cupholder.

Thanks! I wanted to represent the color better than some others I've seen. It's definitely a great match and not as gray as some other photos I've seen taken with flash.

Link to their eBay store?

Nice looking product. I could definitely use one, I'm on the highway a lot and extra storage is always good.

hey green:

could you measure the exact height of the armrest from a fixed point for me, like say from the floor, or from the the base of the cup holder...so i can see if the zeta is the right height for me. thanks man

i want to order the zeta armrest, but I have always been nervous about the fact that its held in with 2 small screws, there must have been a better way to secure it other than the 2 small screws

I had the same skepticism about the screws being enough to hold the rest secure. I have had my zeta armrest installed for about a year and it's fine. Get one if you haven't already!
