Picture's on the Scion site:
http://www.scion.com/#xDAccessories_..._16AlloyWheels
I've decided to go aftermarket to keep my steels for snow tires and save about $200. If concerned about financing them, just lower down payment by the same as the new wheels....same diff.

I'm not worried about financing/down payments. It's already done. thanks for the link, I couldn't find them on the site before. Is there any better looking 16" that people have had some luck with? Thanks!

Can't get stock alloys? Probably nobody can....our regional distributor makes you buy HIS wheels at $795. I now have a Yaris LB and wanted factory alloys but the distributor orders all steelies and makes you take what he likes. Kinda blows, don't it?

freke70,
The part number is PT904-52083, aluminum wheel. See also "Alloy Wheels Arrive" a thread started on 10/3.

Yo, Rich, those look way better than what we get from Gulf States Toyota. Big diff in the geography and options. I'd rather have your wheels any day.

I guess the margin is not great enough on the Toyota stock alloy.

BTW, what did you pay for a set?

Since it's the official Scion 16" alloy wheel (in the Scion xD brochure), I don't know how they can refuse to sell them........!??

They list for $795. I think my dealer sold them to me for $735 installed, and others here have paid as little as $695 for exactly the same wheel. And you'll get your steelies and hubcaps back.

I'm getting mine for $140 apiece and $50 for the mount and balance. thanks for all the help folks! My dealership doesn't do a lot with scion, but we're trying to work up some interest.

After all the help, all you want to do is make us all jealous? Just kidding- glad it's finally working for you.

well. I'm pretty sure that the price I'm paying just falls in line with my parts discount (I'm a salesman at the dealership). I'm not sure if it's really kosher due to Scion's pure pricing guidelines, but if you'd like to know, the COST on the wheels are 125 apiece. I have to pay 10% above cost on all parts, so with tax, it's about 140 per wheel plus labor. I was going to get 5, but I figure I don't really NEED a full size spare. I guess, you guys can probably get more for your money if you haggle with the parts dept at your local dealership. They don't make a lot of money on all parts, but on wheels, there's a considerable markup.

Kevin,
LaGrange Toyota-Scion is certainly entitled to their profit. Running a business is hard work and a huge risk. Certainly not for sissies.
