is it easy to replace front and back emblems

the only problem I had was that the front badge is two parts. the silver, "Scion" part and then this huge black backing. its SUPER rigid plastic so its a pain in the ___ to get it off because it just wants to spring back to the hood as soon as you try to pry it off.

Yes, just make the emblems (front or back) hot when you try to remove them, using a Hair Dryer. (the hotter, the easier) The glue is agressive !
I used 12" of nylon Fishing line and goo-gone to remove, and clean up the area. You'll have an easy time. There are "pins" that go through the metal, so don't expect the line to travel cleanly between the emblem, left to right without "hangin'-up" on the pins. 1 on each side of the emblem.
Don't"saw" through, just lift away and push the line to the left or right, and top to bottom. A Buddy holding the blower would make it even easier. Just don't try it when it's snowing on the car... LOL

i've been looking for a DIY for coilovers but no luck. am i just blind or has no one done it yet? im guessing its simple enough. apologies for the threadjack, but golden opportunities cant be passed up 
ii was gonna get teins went with ksport lol
which ones did you go with? I have Tein Basics on mine

a lot of ppl runs df210 springs. I like them myself. I just dont like how the front sits about a finger or two higher than the back. i dont like gaps between the tire and fender. theres actually quite a few runnin coilovers but i guess not many people talk about them. should be easier than springs since you dont need a compression to shove the springs in. coilovers you replace the whole piece.

i went with Teins because they were designed for xD's.. Alot of coilovers are designed for the Yaris and there is a difference in weight on the cars.. i did consider the silk roads though

Coilovers are acually harder to install than lowering springs. I went from df210's to megan coils, and it was a pita due to poor instructions and trying to adjust them to the proper height. I had to adjust them a few times, which meant the car had to be jacked, wheels removed, collars loosened, etc. The rear coils take three ppl to do it right, since the lower spring cups are at a 45 degree angle when the car is jacked and the shocks are removed. The megans handle great, but like a lot of coils, they're loud, a lot of cluncks and pops from the dead coils on the springs at the top and bottom. I need to install some insulators on the dead coils. Coilovers are not a " I've never worked on cars but I want to install these so I can slam my car to the ground" kinda project, you need to know a thing or two about suspension and have the right tools. As far as the "labeled for yaris" thing, the df210's everyone gets say yaris right on the box. Only diffrence is, you can adjust the coils to compensate for the minor weight diffrence but the lowering springs are set for a specific weight x height, or x-dimension. Any questions on coil installs, pm me, I might be able to help.

Teins is a great brand but basics are designed just for adjusting height. I'm planin to do alil autocross next year and ksport can be completly adjusted to your driving style. Can't wait till megan brings out their exhaust

this is true.. i needed height adjustment because of where i live.. but due to the fact that i'm not allowed on ANY track because of liability issues concerning my trach, I am no longer able to autoX :-/
