Need a replacment antenna
Hi guys,
I had a run-in with the garage door this week--ouchy, and I need a replacment antenna.
I thought I could get away with just the shaft part, but it broke off the screw on part that's on the base.
The OEM base is $240 wchich includes the wiring and everything, which I don't need.
Anyone know of any alternatives?
I did a search and saw some posts about the shark fin antenna. Does that just fit over the base? I didn't want to have to take the old one off, because I really don't know how
Anyone know how the old one comes off? My husband thinks you have to take off the headliner and take it off from the bottom.
Any advice??
Thanks!

I'd just go ahead to honda and get the s2000 antenna and use that. You can grab those from a dealership for pretty cheap. I paid about $40 for mine when I bought one for my friend's VW.
It will look a lot better too.
