New Scion xD owner

Copeland Toyota in Brockton, MA has a green 2.0 XD sitting in their showroom. I think the sticker said $16,750.
I believe it was a standard. I don't recall if it has VSC.
It also had a button down near the parking brake for some sort of interior LED color lighting. The window sticker also listed the stainless steel 2.0 plates in the door sills, which seem stupid since you only see them if the doors are open.

if you start modding it (or even if you don't), the TRD quick-shifter is a great addition. it shortens the throws by about 35-40%. just be sure to get the heaviest shift **** you can find. otherwise, the shifting will really suck! also, TRD springs will give your xD a nice stance and close that ugly gap our cars came with.
enjoy!

hey, Kid Polamalu, welcome to the xD community! fyi, the TRD axle-back exhaust is pretty good, too. i don't know about where u live, but in Olympia, they're pretty willing to deal, especially if you bot it there.

I am a new xD owner. I bought it in February. I went from owning nothing but german cars to now a toyota product. I am new to this game so be nice!! I love the car. Its 2010 Red lowered XD. Bought brand new tires and wheels for it plus i lowered it just a lil. I tinted the windows of course and am looking to add to the body and horsepower. I call it my lil roadrunner!! I love it!!

modding your Xd
hey, I have a few suggestions for your new Xd. first, don't buy the cold air intake from AFE. it does a good job, but the main mounting tab at the top of the cold air box broke on mine. it was less than six months old (grr). it still works, but rattles sometimes, and i don't know what it'll do to the MAF sensor. DO get the TRD rear sway bar! it helps handling immensley. the TRD quick shifter is good, but there may be better ones out there. the TRD axle-back exhaust is real nice. sounds sweet, but not loud or boomy. the TRD springs and struts/shocks are real nice, too. nice ride, nice stance, and at a good price.
BTW, Pioneer makes 6 1/2" separates for the front that slip right in, and they sound awesome, but not a lot of bass (i got a sub for that).
happy motoring...

So I finally decided to buy a new car after driving my 2002 Toyota Echo for the last year and a half. The car has 200,000 miles on it and while it has never given me a single problem, it was just time for a new ride. Scion was the obvious choice because of Toyotas reliability and Scions amazing styling.
The car: 2009 Scion xD release series 2.0, the car is Wasabi Green with a manual transmission. As soon as I get a chance Ill snap some pictures for everyone's enjoyment. I ordered some 20% tint for all of the windows that I hope to have installed by the end of the week. First mod will most likely be TRD lowering springs and a new set of rims.
