Default Running rust on disc brakes

I noticed when I cleaned my wheels with Meguiers wheel cleaner that my front brake rotors started to rust. This is only surface rust and I know its normal for rotors. My question is "What is a good cleaner to help with the running rust?" is simple green or purple power ok to use?

Drive 20 feet and hit your brakes. Brakes cleaned.

^ LOL true surfaces rust tends to happen but will come off once you start moving the vehicle and apply the brakes

I dont think the pad cleans the entire rotor surface.

If it's killing you, try some CLR (available at Home Depot and many bigger grocery stores) Use a stiff brush and some CLR - let it sit for a few minutes, repeat scrub - should clean it off.

disk brakes are made of iron. They are going to rust quickly in the smallest amount of rain. nothing to worry about.
