What did you trade in on the xD?
My trade was a 2006 Sonata V6. During a quick search of internet newsgroups I ran across prior Mitsu Evolution and Chevy Corvette owners who traded for the xD.

Yeah, traded in my evo 8 for an 09 xd. It had 63k miles on it and was modded. My title on the xd is free and clear and I walked with 3500 bucks in my pocket. Cant beat that right now. Last night was probably the first time I missed the evo but my heart still belongs to the hard top s2k that i traded in a couple of years ago. Just dont have room in my life right now for that type of car. Maybe again later down the road. I still dont have my xd yet. Im thinking the next couple of weeks. Once i have it and put the wheels and springs on that are sitting in my basement, it will help get over the evo. Right now just driving my dads spare avalon untill my xd comes in. He drives a lexus and keeps it in the garage during the winter and drives his avalon.

like chang, i traded my jeep wrangler, an 01 TJ that i owed 9k on still. my wife knew the dealership owners which helped, since they originally only were gonna give me 7500. still took a loss due to mods and accessories though. they sold it in less than a week, so im glad i didnt settle for the 7500 and got them to pay it off.

Traded in my husband's PT Cruiser convertible. I'm glad to be rid of the thing. It sucked up the gas and is American-made. No, thank you. He took over my Mazda 3 hatch, so we now have two gas-sipping hatches. Hurray!

I traded in my 1999 Corolla CE and they paid off the rest that was owed, $3100. Then my awesome mom gave me $6000 as a down payment since she promised she'd give me some money since she's helped my sister out so much (she lives in TX).
So glad to be out of that sardine car!

Traded in my 07 Corolla LE with 18k on it. Got 13.3k for it, which turns out to be a hefty down payment. My insurance and payments are cheaper with the xD...and a little more "me."
The dealer said Toyota realized the average age of people who buy Corollas are in their mid-30s. That's part of the reason they created Scion - to appeal to the younger crowd. Wonder if they expected the 50+ crowd to take interest, too? I don't know how much of that I believe, but it was an interesting statement...since I'm much younger than mid-30s.
