I traded my Silver 06 XB with 53K miles on it for my BSP XD.
I got a great deal from Clearwater Toyota. More than I was expecting.
They were great to deal with and have even been a pleasure after the sale.
And, No, I don't work for them.

traded my 2004 Chevy Impala- I go 30K+ year driving to work, needed a ton of work done on it, traded for the D, never looking back, 1st Toyota, Love it, Just wished the paint was better-clearcoat scratches way too easy and you can only cut it so many times w/ scratch X.

Welcome to the Toyota/Scion family, jay556!
I agree with you on the clearcoat... it marks up so easily. I took the xD through a carwash the other day and had to rewash and wax it because of all the swirls it left... annoying.

I traded my '01 PT Cruiser with 127k miles on it for my xD RS1, which I just bought yesterday! I didn't get as much for my trade-in as I would have liked, but the PT wasn't in very good shape and needed a lot of work so I am happy. They quoted me a price on my trade-in without even seeing it, as I went to the dealership with a friend.

Yeah, I also traded in my wife (divorce) so I could afford to buy my xD AND keep my big truck - A 98 Dodge Ram that gets a whopping 9 miles to the gallon! But I still need a truck to haul stuff from Home Depot fairly often, since my new batchelor pad is in need of some of work and constant upkeep - which someday I may actually get around to, after I quit spending all my money on mods for my xD, lol!
Priorities, baby!

I traded in my 6 month old new 08' F350 Diesel Lariat 4x4 pickup... I obviously lost money, but, I had it with the Diesel Fuel prices... My Scion XD is a little box to drive and always looking for improvement for economy, performance and comfort... as a new member I hope to educate myself with improvements from members from this site... Thanks

Got rid of my 06 CSM tC. It was supercharged and had 37K miles on it. I was spending a minimum on $56 a week to pretty much drive back and forth to work and $112 if I went to a show a few hrs away. Love the $34 fill ups and drive all over and still only fill up once a week.

I traded in my 2004 Mazda RX-8 which was using $280.00 month in fuel to go back and forth to work. My XD now uses $120.00 Month, has more usable space, lowered insurance and is just as funky looking as the RX-8.

ZIP, Nothing. Bought my 08 XD straight out for $18k
I needed a work car that was easy to get in and out of and got great mileage. Didn't really care what it looked like. Since buying it, I've gotten tons of great comments and find it funny that people are always stoppping to look at it and admire it...and it's off the showroom stock!
Whatever floats your boat ya know![Smile](https://www.scionlife.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I recently sold my 87 vette and am selling my 89 Landcruiser, but only to help pay off all my debts. Plan on living the debt free lifestyle in less than 2 years. Then I'll buy another vette

i had a nissan pathfinder lease that i turned in so the xD was a straight cash purchase - 18k tax, tag and title out the door.
i would normally have just transferred the tag from the pathy but i had a onth to turn it in so i took my time getting it cleaned up instead.
you florida guys above, what kind of gas mileage are you getting with the FL heat and humidity through the summer?
i only have 1,700 miles on the car but i generally get ~30mpg when i drive and a couple less when my wife drives but i am running some dang heavy 18's right now which will be changed for TC stockers next week.
