Shepards and sheep as a metaphor for the commercial? Don't you think that its just an odd coincidence and nothing more? Scion didn't think of religion when designing the campaign. Leave it to the religious nutjobs to always find a connection to religion in anything.

I simply took it as "be different, Not like everyone else" And that is what scion is all about.

^ I did notice your screen name was R2D2.... Did you not find starwars offensive with all the aliens, talk of the force, people speaking from the dead, no talk of heaven or hell, clones & no talk of the Lord?
I did in a way, but i could've easily chosen not to watch it (i ain't perfect as ALL of us also aren't), but the emphasis being the whole campaign's association with me (as a Scion owner).
For example, if i (an American) goto another country and all of a sudden all the wrongs our bush committed becomes my fault.. thx for nothing bush.. similarly, things like that i'd prefer not to be affiliated with if there's an option not to be..

Obviously, by seeing all the negative reactions towards Christianity I might possibly be throwing more fuel on the individual fires against it. I don't know all ur individual experiences, but from the sounds of it someone(s) and/or something must've caused you guys to have such hatred against it.
In some cases I don't blame you, societies throughout the ages have taken the name of "christianity" and imposed their own agenda in it and allowing evil to seep into something Holy.
Just so you guys know, the corruption from those days still exists today, as demonstrated in the vast array of media outlets and bad taste in people's mouths.
Announcing the good news that we're all saved if we genuinely believe is meant to be GOOD NEWS! not condemnation, not guilt trips, and not in a forceful manner. God Himself gave everybody the free will to choose. Are those people somehow "higher" than God that they can "try" to force people to believe? NO. This is the GOOD NEWS to be announced, not condemning to be imposed or corrupted selfish agendas to be milked.
Hopefully some light the dark world we live in. ( Acts 26:18 )

I was born and raised Catholic/Christian. Seven years of private school where I was taught religion on a daily basis. I have no hate for any religion. Don't try to generalize me for you know nothing about me. You believe what you want and I will believe what I want. No need to jump my behind for my beliefs, which if I not mistaken you told me not to do. I wasn't saying you are wrong I was just spouting off my own opinion. The connections are easily seen if you are looking for them. Christianity is based around Pagan belief systems. The Christian faith also is highly based on Astrology, but that is harder to follow because when the Bible was translated the translations weren't absolutely correct. If retranslated today it is much easier to see the correlations.

The Bible in my opinion is the greatest book ever written, but not something to base your life on. It is full of great stories that have great messages, but I don't think I can pray to a man that may have never existed. I have also studied some Astrology and believe that it is really interesting that there are parts in it that one could help guide them on a better path, but just like the Bible it isn't something you should base your entire life on. I don't see why one person can't take many different ideas and ideals from different religions and walks of life to find the most positive path for themselves. Enlighten one's self.

Suprised you saw hatred in the responses, I did not see anything like that. Guess you have to look for things in order to see what you want to see, and if you see hatred, then that is what you see.
