i get from superbright LED's.

just got the "HD-16x" white for my back-up. they are wicked. next step is the Amber LED's for turn signals. i don't want ANY bulbs (except headlights) in my car. brakes will be LED, turn signals, back up already are, map lights already are. i gotta find a bright one for the door light (both overhead and back in the cargo area).

any ideas for door lights?

I used blue from garage1217 for my dome and cargo lamp. The blue is almost like a black light inside. I love it. I left my map lights alone. They're bright enough at night stock.

And I used blue LEDs for the parking light bulb in the headlight housing (can see them in my avatar!), even tho garage doesnt recommend it. I can live with replacing them now and then if they go bad from the heat build up in there.

that's the "map" light domes. i'm talking about the one in the middle of the car. in the center of the roof. need a bright white LED for that.

sefi, i have 4 LED blue's in my parking in headlights as well. got them from some hong-kong site for $2. total after shipping was $6.

they work great for me!!!

Garage1217 has the dome lamp bulbs too.

http://store.garage1217.com/new-alum...219416839.html

That's the one I used in my dome/door light and cargo light too but the cargo light one took some bending and finagling of the housing assembly of the bulb as the ones Garage has are smaller than the stock bulb. The dome light it snapped right into with ease.

Right on guys, thanks for the help on the post! My bulbs are VERY bright, have outstanding color and are reliable.

For the front domes, license plate or reverse lights in the tC use these...
http://store.garage1217.com/insane-1...edg194168.html

For the rear dome & trunk light use these, they are matched to my aluminum ringed fronts! They are a tight fit but work flawless. And did I mention BRIGHT?
http://store.garage1217.com/new-alum...219416839.html

This is the best bulb I have for the cubby light. Took a lot of revisions to come up with a reliable unit that is affordable. 3 chip 5050 sitting on top. Output is great!

G, have you noticed that those festoon bulbs don't fit into the cargo light holder on the xD's? They're about a quarter of an inch shorter. I think, if I remember right anyway. I was able to make it fit however with the use of some needle nosed pliers and creative metal bending.

Actually they are about an 1/8th longer, they are a very tight fit. You actually have to bend the metal tabs back a bit to make them fit on my xD & customers cars.

Not universal, but the xD takes the same applications basically. The xD takes two 194/168's for the front & two for the plate.

It also takes a 3022 for the rear dome & a 3022 for the trunk dome.

I have noticed your name mentioned on a bunch of Scion sites and it is always positive feedback. If I could just ask you two questions, I would like to get some LED bulbs for the front white parking lights that are mounted inside the headlight. I would like to go the same route as a friend of mine did with his Lexus IS350 and install a stick style LED bulb. However, I have not been able to get a good measurement to see how long the bulb can be without coming in contact with the shield for the headlight. I was wondering if maybe had an answer for this? Also is their any kind of bulk discount you give say if I purchased LED's for all of the exterior and interior?

Thanks

Hello CXTKRS1,
I do not recommend the use of any leds in the headlight housings as the heat caused by the headlights is damaging to most all styles of LED. My aluminum ringed units are a lot more durable in this situation, but I cannot warranty them if used in this application.
As for stick style leds, I do not offer anything like that sorry! Last, I offer bulb discounts on bulb qty's over 25 & led qty's over 100. Let me know if you have any other questions!
