Default TPMS sensor ID - TC Wheels

I picked up a set of 2007 TC alloys and I don't know if they have the TPMS sensors in them or not. So my first question is this. Is there any way from the outside to tell if it has sensors or not, since only half of the TCs in 2007 did IIRC. I was thinking I could pull the valve stem innards and see if it is clear or blocked by a sensor o the inside. but I'm not sure that is how they work anyway.

If they do, should I use them, assuming I get them reprogrammed at the dealer, or should I transfer the ones out of my wheels I'm replacing? I have a 2009 xD.

I was thinking about this three ways.
The cost of dismounting 8 tires to transfer TPMS.
The cost of buying new TPMS sensors and getting them programmed.
the cost of reprogramming the older tc sensors if they are there.

If it doesn't have a valve stem and the inside has the sensor attached to it then it doesn't have it. It looks like a little black box right under the valve stem, as for the other tC's prior to the late 07-10 the tpms was intergrated into the abs if I'm not mistaken. You're better off transfering your current tpms sensor's to the tC rims it's cheaper.Besides the ecu can only store one set of tpms's anyway

Oh, I think you misunderstood me, or I you. They are complete wheels and tires now, so I can't see the inside. I thought I could pull the valve and see the tpms. I think i'll just swap them from my stock steelies. Just means more money to dismount those.
Thx, cheers
