You used to be able to get them if you had a Special Edition VIN...I'd still call someone like TRD Sparks or big online Toyota/Scion parts vendor or you could do a nationwide inventory search if you had the part number.

I just got a manual with 150k, seems stock, but with the manual and the TRD lowering springs, it's a lot better car then I was expecting. Could use 20 more hp, but not terribly. Need to find some DAMD side skirts.

Hello everyone!
I am so glad to have found this forum. Thanks for allowing me to join!
We are the proud new owners of a 2010 Scion xB Release Series 7.0... just bought it today! It is 1014 of 2000, bone-stock automatic, with just under 85,000 miles. The inside is in great shape (looks almost new) and the outside has a few dings and things here-and-there. I am loving it, though!
My first question is about those gravel dings on the hood of the car. What do you all suggest I do about them and do to prevent more?
Thanks again and I am looking forward to learning more about this unique car!

You should be able to get touch-up paint in your xB's specific color from a Toyota dealer or online and do some touch-ups or go the route of touch-ups, light wet sanding and then polishing and to prevent more of them look into doing some kind of PPF.

Paint’s been weak ever since they went to water-based paints. Especially if car was made in U.S. I’ve found it’s best to lay down tough clear-coat after chip touch-ups. Prevents having to constantly repair chips. DuPont Imron polyurethane clear is one of best out there. Used by custom paint shops for autos and motos.

Side skirts for rs7
Hi, you ever find any side skirts? I am giving up on finding Damd ones, and wondering if you had opinion on other brands that have them. Seems like a quality brand is 250-300$ for the pair. I've seen cheaper, but kinda universal fit and not made for only xB. I could even live with black, but I do have a buddy who owns a paint shop.

JUST BOUGHT A 2010 xB R7.0 AFTER A 14 YEAR WAIT
Hello members. Thanks for having me again. This is my second time with the group.
Here’s my story:
In 2013 I bought a 2008 scion xB.
I owned it for seven years. At the time I was looking for a Murasaki xB Release Series 7.0. Everything at that time was either out of state or way over my price point.
Then in 2019 one came up at a dealership that was only 20 miles away. I went and looked at it, but it was just traded in and hadn’t gone through a safety, inspection, detailing, etc.
I went home and told my wife and she said to me, “you’re gonna buy another scion but just a different color”?
Then she said “how about a Dodge Challenger“?
That took me by surprise, so we found a challenger and bought it and I owned it for three years.
But still always lusted for a Murasaki Scion Release Series 7.0.
I traded the challenger in at Carmax and then bought a 2012 dodge ram quad cab.
This was back in October 2023, but deep down I still wanted another Scion xB.
So my wife sends me an email that’s titled
“Road Trip”? I opened it up, and she had found a Murasaki 2010 scion Release Series 7.0 for sale at a dealership that was a 2 Hour drive away.
We called the dealership and did all the paperwork online. It’s a 1 owner with 81K miles and it’s mine! Will be picking it up tomorrow. I will share more in the near future.
It took 13 years, but I finally got one.

Also, does anyone have this car in the greater NY area? My neighbor was driving on the road earlier today and thought she was driving next to me, and it turns out it was someone else in a 2010 Release Series 7.0!! I'd love to know if someone else with this car lives near me. I did see a person driving a first generation kelly green xB near my job in Rockland County last week. It was so cool and so exciting! I wonder what year it was and if it was a special release series vehicle.

Just bought a 2010 xB Release Series 7.0.(If I should be starting this as a new thread instead of posting this here, then please let me know.) Planning to use it as a commuter to save gas in my truck, assuming it lasts. (It had maybe a little over a quart of oil in it when I changed it, although is running strong with no engine noise.) Manual, no spoiler.
@Davelaf2 - Did you ever find those side skirts? If not where are you? Mine are going to get removed soon. It's so low I can barely get it on my lift, and they are already loose although not in bad shape. Maybe we can work something out.
Questions about these cars:
1- I saw when I had it on the lift that it has red TRD lowering springs. (and read above that it is part of the special edition.) Does this mean that it has different shocks/struts than a standard edition or is it just the actual springs that are different?
2- Does anyone know of a trailer hitch being used on one of these? The exhaust coming over and out the center seems like it would be problematic. I saw a muffler on RockAuto for under $70 and may go that route if I want a hitch after I've put some miles on this thing. (not planning to tow anything heavy, but a light trailer with a car has the payload of a tacoma easily.) Did Toyota just bolt the Special Edition muffler on in place of the stock unit or is other stuff with the exhaust different?
I'm sure I'll think of more to ask but those are the things I'm currently thinking about.

i was wondering about the struts/shocks too. You still have the side skirts? Sorry about taking so long, off on other projects, motos and a 67 Scout. But if you have them, let me know, thanks!
