Default Radiator Support question...

So I purchased my 2015 Scion tC Release Series 9.0 a few weeks ago and it had some damage to the underneath, specifically the lower radiator support. The entire support is bent inwards as well as both the radiator and condenser (no leaks thankfully) and some of the plastic undercovers are shredded up. Anyways, I have watched a few videos on how to replace the support and I have been looking for one without breaking the bank but am having no luck. I understand that the second gen tC model years are 2011-2016 but for some reason they show a split on the radiator supports that break it into 2011-2013 and 2014-2016. I assume this is due to the 2.5 facelift however, there is a large price disparity between the two and I am not sure why. I read the sticky that outlines what needs to be changed to swap from the 2.0 to 2.5 variants and I saw no mention about swapping the radiator supports over. It is possible to use the support (read, cheaper price part) from the 2011-2013 or am I stuck using the 2014-2016 piece? Thanks for any information!

Hey I am in the same situation with a 2014 TC. What did you figure out on replacing the radiator frame rail?

Thankfully, I work as a technician for a Toyota dealership so I was able to get the entire radiator support for a couple hundred dollars. I also had my parts department order the plastic under panels and fender liners as well with the attachment hardware. I sourced the radiator and condenser from Rock Auto and once everything came in I tore the car apart. The radiator support has these two upper sections that are spot welded to the fenders but they seemed to be in good shape so I unbolted those pieces from the new support, leaving the old spot welded pieces in.

It did require a bit of tweaking/twisting, but I was able to get the support in with no issues. Everything else seemed to line up pretty good after that and so far everything has worked flawlessly since then.
