Default Water in the Engine Bay

Hey all,

When you open the hood to clean the engine and whatnot, is there anything that needs to stay dry?

I'll be using a hose and probably a pressure washer.

Electrical connections shouldn't take a straight shot form a pressure washer, filter if you're running a CAI, make sure coil pack/spark plug holes get blown out with air...unless you've got years and years of grease buildup, I'd spay with a Simple Green or Purple Power mix, let it sit for 5-ish, use a few brushes of different sizes to scrub and then gently rinse or step-back or dial the pressure washer way down.

High-pressure water and engine bays are a bad combo...I can get an engine bay looking like-new with the above method and some engine detailer spray or 303.
