Hey Beantowntc you say you might switch them out between seasons. I have an extra set of mirrors if you're interested. You can have a set for winter and one for.... (when its not snowing) lol. PM me if you're interested.

Be smart when removing the stock mirror plate. My passenger mirror plate came off with ease, the drivers' side was a PITA, I ended up pulling the entire mirror plate assembly off and spent the better part of 20 minutes lining it back up and applying pressure to get it back on the piece that turns/tilts the mirror and putting the "oh sh*t" clip back on, you know the clips, the ones where you pop it off and it goes flying while you say "oh sh*t", that clip.

If it does not come off with 2 to 3lbs of force and you find yourself exerting 7 to 8lb of force, you're probably on your way to putting the mirror plate assembly back on.

My tint is 35% for comparison

People wanted more pics, here they are

i swear I saw some scionlifers selling theirs for $60. anyways, i would love to do this, but 1. its easy to steal and 2. I already set my mirrors so that I have a 180 degree view behind my head and everything else is in my peripheral and sight.

i just installed these. pretty easy. i took off the double sided tape they had on though. when i installed with it, it made the mirrors pop out too much and didn't fit so i went out and bought 3M double sided tape(outdoor)

went on much easier. and a better fit.

dont let easy to steal stop you from buying them...most of the tx exterior mods are easy to steal, vrd fogs, vrd grilles, shorty antenna and in some cases the spoiler has been ripped off.....

i dont think these jump out and say steal me....i dont think most non tc owners will notice them as much anyways

Where do you guys live/go for people to steal your parts?

I mean if someone wants to steal convex mirrors rip them off a BMW.

I mean in all seriousness that is sad and you shouldn't let that be a deterrent.

After all, when was the last time you knew someone that went around to purposely steal someones mirrors, that's one sad soul.

yeah i got these this past summer the convex is great but i feel they could be bluer..........sometimes they dont even look blue at all but if its a dim rainy day they do seems a little steep for what you get costwise but if you need a better viewing angle get em also on a side note they dont fit as tightly as the stocks do theyre smaller i had to use silicone cause i thought they might come out one day
