does anyone have a problem with the 9-led for the front dome lights melting the dome cover cause its longer than the stock bulb? The WLED 6-LED bulb the author recomended is just not bright enough..

Do i buy this 921-x9 Wedge Base LED bulb?

or this 921-x12 Wedge Base LED bulb?

Also, Will this work for the rear festoon light? 3022-x9 LED Festoon bulb

Finally, Will this work for the license plate lights, I hear theyre brighter? WLED 1-LED bulb

i think i'll allow the rest of the audience to chime in and answer this question.. i'm a bit far too tired to bother explaining

but here's a short..
no, probably too long, ditto, yes, and yes (but it's not as bright as you think they are.. they're NOT brighter than the others.)

if you have a problem with my short answers, pm me.

I have two of the white 9-LED 921 bulbs in for the map lights. They work great and are really bright. No fitment issues either.

not really... crazed panicked people still post in here asking how to remove the socket after they inadvertly twisted and lost it up in the housing often..

and which point i get all 'd up and yell at them.

has anyone done this mod with amber led's? i want to see what it looks like. i think the blue looks really nice, but i don't like how it doesn't match all the other interior lights. i'd rather get blue, and get my gauge cluster and hvac switched to blue, but that'd cost a bit more. so, if anyone has amber led's in their dome, please post pics. thanks.

Blue looks really good. It's only like $1.50 more per LED, if even that much. The gauge swap is also pretty cheap.

I think, all together swapping my gauges, parking lights, headunit, heating controls, cubby light, autoshifter light, front and rear domes, map lights, trunk light, and license plate light it has cost me less than $100. I couldn't be more happy with how it turned out. Best money I've spent on the car so far!!

yeah. ideally, that's what i'd like to do, but i'm not nearly confident enough in my ability to do stuff like that without messing up to do it myself. so, in order to get the gauges/hvac done, i'd have to pay someone. so....

Yeah, the parking lights are a b*tch..especially with massive hands and no one to help you out. The trunk light that everyone complains about was simple for me to do. I didn;'t really have to do much, I just slid it in, I don't know why people are blowing fuses.

the trunk light was a 1 minute job.. but i can see it doesnt fit very well.. but its looks good.. i wil make some picture later!

but my biggest problem is: the rear dome light is much stronger, darker than my front dome light(((((((((( but i think i cant make them look a like because the two dome light has different lighting bulb

What size is our Trunk light? the little one on the side.

Has anyone put LEDs in their reverse lights? What size are they?
