Just got mine installed a few minutes ago

really easy cept i just ended up taking the whole plastic part down instead of just messing with trying to force the bulbs out. Looks really good ill take some pics when it gets darker.

Yeah, The white ones work really well. I had blue in my Corolla S and it looked kinda goofy.

The center dash piece (and door accent rings), I painted myself with custom-made superwhite spray paint and some clear coat. Kylon Fusion white is really really close to the right color but is just a touch too warm. Also, a guy is selling painted pieces in sponsored sales.

The rear license plate bulb housings, you have to twist them pretty hard to get them loose. Counter-clockwise as you are inside the hatch looking out. We used some pliers. I then used duct tape to grab the bulbs to pull them out of the sockets.

i twisted the assembly and dropped both the bulb and the assembley in the top piece how do i get it off to get it out??

looks like you'll have to take off the plastic piece under your hatch area, or fish around, you might be able to get the wires, but the bulb.... no way

Are you talking about your front dome assy? I copied this from page 12 of this thread, and I believe Trung had posted it several other times as well....

The big festoon went in the rear dome.

I might get a 9-LED bulb and see if it fits in the front dome. I'll probably also get bulbs for the reverse lights.

i've been looking on superbrightleds.com and they dont have the white led listed for the 4 led 30x10. i am wondering if the 9 LED will fit in its place and will it fit in the hatch???

i did notice that a few posts before this someone has the 9 LED, was there fitment issues??

I did the same thing...black thing got stuck up in the housing. I was able to put the whole plastic thing back on, but the front of it still sticks out a little bit. Im gonna try later tonight and see if I cant fit it back to normal.
