If you want bright, either go with the 1 watt LED or a size 921 LED bulb for the parking lights.

I have the 1-watt 168 bulb with built-in heatsink for the parking lights and have lasted for several months now (05-07 tC's tend to burn out LEDs when used as parking lights).

Oznium has LED arrays for the domes that work pretty good. I used a red one for the rear dome. I used white 12-LED 921 bulbs for the map lights which are pretty bright (originally tried them for reverse lights, but not enough useable output). I used a 1-watt LED for the front dome and it's decent.

after I switched the bulb in the trunk/hatch, the LED in my front dome light now flickers. Its the main dome light, not the pilot lights, and it flickers when its on, not when its fading in/out. I dunno if its a pure coincidence, or some how I caused a short or something, but its annoying to have that light flicker.

I guess i'm going to get more LEDs and replace that one. Hope that does the trick. I need to swap the lights in my license plate anyways....

the 6-LED super white, as described in the OP.

Yea, it would appear that *one* of the 6 LEDs in the bulb is flickering.

You, sir, have made superbrightleds.com a good little score in the past couple years, from the looks of it. I'm about to buy 'em myself. Thanks a lot for the simple, well-written instructions.

Yanki, which do you recommend for the front domes (all 3 sockets) for the whitest, brightest output?...

in 8500k

or these:

WLED-WHP Pure White High Power

or these...

i have yet to try the last one but out of the 2 i would say the 2nd (1 LED) bulb. if you look back a couple pages you'll see my interior night shot and thats with all 3 of the 1 LED bulb.

1) i wouldnt go with the first one because that has nothing to do with the front dome lights........... that light has a 360 degree viewing angle.. its the best led for the parking light or the license plate.. but you dont need wide viewing angle in the dome lights.

about the other two........ i got the one with the 12 led.. i never seen so bright led like this.. the only brighter is the one from oznium with 20 or 25 led or so...................

for the front dome lights get the 12 led one!!!!!!!!!!!! for the license plate light get the wide viewing angle one!
