What color did you get DIGITAL? The warm white, white, or cool white? Also do they have a connector for the hatch/trunk light?

Sorry I took so long to reply.

I'm pretty sure I got cool white as I wanted it to match any other white LEDs I have, many of which are only available in cool white.

I decided against doing the map lights, as I don't want this crazy amount of light when I'm driving at night. But if you were so inclined, I'd go with the 1"x1" - I'm not sure that you could fit 1.5's on the sides.

For the hatch, it comes with several different sized festoon adapters. I bet one would work. Follow the link from my post, then go up a level. Look at the superflux LED array, and go into the "More Photos." There you'll find an image that shows the assortment of adapters that these things come with. It's possible to play around and bend the bulb holder pieces inside the hatch light to make it fit bulbs that are not an exact fit - I did this with the superbrightleds.com bulb I have in there.

Also, if you have any questions or problems, contact Oznium. They'll answer any questions you have, and if you buy the product and it doesn't work out for you they will take it back with no hassle.

I'm going to do this too. I like these writeups because I need help with everything in the car. I plan on putting fatmat on the doors today and I saw Mandos's writeup and now I know how to take apart the door interiors.

My future mods to my 05 of 3+ years LOL:

-Changing interior lighting to blue
-Added aux input to my cd player
-Applying FatMat
-Fixing alternator whine from my system

I did the same thing (didn't even know this article was here haha.)

But I used the 9 LED SMT tower 194 from autolumination.com, it gives more even overall lighting (for the center light,) also it distributes light 360 degrees... it lights up the whole car when I hit unlock. I don't think any larger of a bulb would fit though.

great write up! i bought pretty much the exact set up as the OP did and just installed them in under 10 minutes! i placed my order with superbrightleds.com on monday night and received them today, friday (i live in cali). all bulbs work great and i can't wait until its dark to see their true colors! superbrightleds.com customer service was great, i initially only ordered cubby bulbs, but then decided i wanted to do the dome/map lights and made another order. i called them the next morning to see if they could combine the order and they did it without hesitation (saving me $5). i had also accidently ordered 3 of the blue lights, when i should have ordered 2 cool whites and 1 blue, the gal on the phone said no problem and made the adjustment and my order arrived perfectly!

i popped out the front dome assembly like squail mentioned, it was very easy to do, and putting it back in its place was just as easy! i also used packing tape to wrap around the stock bulbs and carefully wiggled back and forth with a little bit of tension to get them to back out, whoever suggested using the tape trick is brilliant, it worked without a hitch!

I just did this with LEDs from garage1217. It looks great! I saw the one with the plate and that is rediculously bright. I am not sure I want that much light, but I might do that someday. My LEDs totaled about $10 whereas the plate things from oznium would be about $50. I am very satisfied anyway. It took literally 7 minutes ( I took my time).

help please! while attempting to change my dome and map lights, I've twisted instead of wiggled. and now the lights are up in the assembly housing. I've read on here that you can pull down on the housing to remove it and expose the lights.
can someone please clarify that I am to remove the entire outer housing, including the area around the sunroof switch, im afraid to break any thing. thanks

That's correct, just grab it and pull, it's held on with three of the normal interior panel clips. Just give it a solid yank. Then once you have it off there is a wire harness to to unhook then it will be free.

The small festoon bulb in this pic is what I used. You will need to bend the metal parts inside the light housing some to make it fit.
