just ordered my lights, i'll post once I get them in.

Even though this thread seems simple enough i would have been one of those that turned the housing and lost it in the panel had i not read this, what is up with them putting those arrows.............its like a trap?

Installed mine last night!! They were kind of tough to pull out but just make sure you dont pull too hard.. the wiggly-side-by-side method is useful.

Interesting- especially as I doubt leds could mess up much of anything in the car.... Does this rule apply to other mods as well?

I just checked this how-to again for the bulb #'s.

I'll be swapping out all the crappy "Import Tuner" mall booth LED's I have in the dome light, and I ordered a few for the hatch light, and the license plate light.

Amber stock bulb light, you must die!

Was that a court case?
PS: Just installed my LED's- they look pretty nice. Took me a while to get the front lights out, but getting the LEDs in was super easy. Thanks to everyone for this info.

How did you get it in the cubby hole? Got any pics? Not sure I could fit my big hands in there.

its easiest if you remove the center console with to reach behind to get to it. It just pulls out though and you can replace the bulb and then pop it back in.

Ok- so calling all cars, i have a weird thing with my interior LEDS.

Background- I have a white one in each maplight, a blue one in the front and rear dome lights, per the instructions at the beginning of this post.

I am now noticing that, when i have the lights on "door" (door closed=off, door open=on), even when the door is closed and the light has faded out, there is a slight glow in the light.

This glow goes away if the lights are switched to "OFF".

Any ideas?

Here is an awesome walk through created by MANDOS on removing pieces in your car. The center console is easy.
