How do you Toyota guys feel about the compact Toyota Paseo? I've seen them driving around all tuned out......what do you guys and gals think?

 

i think its unique because you always see all Civic fixed up but rarely Tercel and Paseo...

 

I used to have a really hooked up tercel that I absolutely loved. Fun little cars...

That link has some of the most riced out cars i have ever seen...

 

At least they are proud of their work...some of them look ok, like the silver one. Definately better than some of the rice I have seen lately. I think the guy that started the thread needs to repaint the bumpers. I have never been much for euro lights and different colored bumpers. If I ever see a Honda Element with euro lights, I will be like, wtf...

 

My cuz has a black Paseo. Not modded or anything though. That green one looks tight!!

 

They made a convertible! They're rare, but I think that is the only way I would own one.

Here's my Paseo



It's a WIP. I had a white coupe for 2 years that was totaled, so after i collected the insurance money i bought a convertible in May 2005. They're rare, but not too hard to find, if you're willing to drive 150+ miles to get one, like i did.

It's got a few dents on the body, looking at rims, etc... but I have body kit, projector lights, I'm making projector corners as we speak, it's fun, just it's hard to find parts, so you basically have to make anything you want.

^I have to say that is the only paseo i have seen that doesnt look bad. The convertible makes it much better. Looks alot like the old body style celicsa

 

Thanks for the compliment. The front lip and the projector headlights really do give it a old Celi look. It's a nice car to cruise around the neighborhood in on a warm day with the top down, but it's a really crappy freeway car.

Yeah, I like it... I think I would dump the painted tails and just smoke them, though. It would look a lot cleaner.

 

I saw a red Paseo convertible yesterday. I was like you don't see those often. and it was a 97 i believe.
