Not even close. The 240SX was the US version of the Nissan 200SX Silvia, only minus the 2.0l SR20DE(T) engine and plus the 2.4l KA24 (Hence, 240sx) engine out of their pickup truck. That's why the SR20DET engine swap is so popular among 240sx tuners, it's an *awesome* turbo motor and it was originally designed for the the car.

The Skyline was never sold in the US until the G35 came out (It's known as the Skyline V35 in Japan). And there is still no G/V 35 Skyline GT-R out yet in either country.

Under $30,000??!! Yeah, sure. If it comes to be it'll definitely be way more than that. Then it'll be shelved again...
