The Xa, xB, and tC have totally different "Toyota VIP" alarm systems.

The xB Toyota VIP alarm does NOT have a beeper or buzzer, the xA does. That is merely the most obvious difference. There is a vast difference in the programing, also.

For those with the Scion official, optional, Toyota VIP alarm in a Scion xB, this is the manual that the dealer should have given you - the Alarm System Owner's Manual.

If the dealer did NOT give you this manual with your alarm, beat them soundly about the head and shoulders until they cough one up - it is *required* that they give the original owner of the alarm system the owner's manual.

If you have the Scion alarm in your xB (but NOT the one in the RS3, according to RUMORS), save a copy of this PDF... you may need it someday.

Tomas-- I couldn't find anything suggesting a different system for the RS3. However, it's being a bit stupid on something and I'm wondering if the manual I got was really for the RS3.

 

Can anyone send me a copy of the pdf to reprogram the alarm? TIA
